Jewism - A Documentary Movie

A feature-length documentary for cinema streaming and broadcast, the October 7th program led to an unprecedented level of fear in Israeli communities. The response by Israel to eliminate Hamas has led to a humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip.

This crisis has led to some communities around the world demonstrating against Israel, and this has brought out an enormous rise in antisemitism around the world.

In the UK, where Jews number just under 300,000 and Muslims number in the millions, this has led to an ongoing climate of fear among Jews in the UK who feel physically and mentally threatened by Muslims who are openly antagonistic towards Jews and Israel.

We would like to make a film that interviews ordinary Jews from the UK in London, Manchester, Leeds, and Glasgow who will talk about their feelings during this time and also about their attitude towards Israel and the conflict. We would also hope to interview Holocaust survivors to see how this new atmosphere has affected their memories. The Jews we would interview include Jews of color as well as Sephardi Jews of all ages and occupations.

We know that there are many people who have never met a Jew or may have met one but didn't realize they were Jewish. Our film will show people what Jews are really like and will combat the online antisemitic tropes about media and financial domination that is pure misinformation and is being spread online at an alarming rate. We believe that this film can become a brand, and after we do the film in the UK, we would like to see a French producer make a French version, a German producer make a German version, and an American producer make an American version.

We believe that if this film was independently financed, we could get a very good cinema deal because the film will be viewed by almost all Jews, and many Muslims will also watch it. We hope that Christians who have been silent during this time, probably because they don't want to become the target of the toxicity that is online, will also support this film and be interested in it. The film can be made at a reasonable price and will have a worldwide appeal.
